- The 7-inch edge runs straight, so the cut lands flat against the board every time.
- A tall, broad face scoops a finished pile clear in one motion.
- A VG-10 core sits behind the edge, hardened to 60 ±2 HRC to keep it biting through heavy use.
- 67 layers of Damascus wrap that core, each blade patterned with its own suminagashi swirl.
- At roughly 9 oz, the extra weight is set forward, right where the chop needs it.
Deep-black ebony in an octagonal wa grip, steady under the added heft of the blade.
